BnJ CoreLife

Good food, gentle routines, and a little more strength.

Strengthen Your Core. Nourish Your Life.

Hi, I’m Jennie. I created this space to share a more enjoyable way to live well: nourishing recipes, movement that builds strength, and small routines that feel good enough to keep.

My story

Curiosity Kept Leading Me Somewhere New

From science and teaching to Pilates

I was born into a family with a long-standing tradition of education, so learning and sharing naturally became a part of my life from an early age.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Ha Noi University of Science of Vietnam National University, along with a professional teaching qualification and a TESOL certificate. My journey then took me through two very different worlds: working in a chemistry laboratory and teaching English. While science taught me to stay curious and keep asking questions, teaching taught me the importance of listening, connecting, and meeting people where they are.

Over time, I realised that laboratory work was no longer where I wanted my curiosity to lead me. I was looking for a more active and human way to learn, grow, and connect with others. That search eventually led me to Pilates.

Where movement and food came together

What began as something I practised for myself gradually grew into a deeper passion. I kept learning, trained professionally, and eventually became a Pilates coach.

At the same time, another passion was quietly growing alongside it: cooking. What started as a simple hobby became years of exploring food, nutrition, and the relationship between what we eat and how we feel.

Eventually, these two paths came together and became BnJ CoreLife.

For me, BnJ CoreLife is not about chasing quick results or following strict rules. It is about discovering a healthier way of living that feels enjoyable, sustainable, and genuinely yours.

I hope to share what I have learned along the way—from food and nutrition to movement and mindful living—and to make healthy habits something we can enjoy, rather than something we have to endure.

Why I Chose Pilates

I’ve always loved staying active and taking care of my health, and after practising Pilates for a while, I found myself wanting to understand it on a deeper level. That curiosity eventually led me to enrol in an international Pilates instructor training programme.

I feel incredibly grateful to have trained alongside talented and experienced professionals who inspired me to keep learning and growing. But some of my most valuable lessons have come from working with my students.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work with hundreds of people, each with their own bodies, habits, goals, and challenges. No two people are quite the same, and that has taught me that Pilates isn’t about following one perfect formula. It’s about learning to listen to your body and finding an approach that works for you.

What I love most about being a coach is seeing the changes that happen beyond the exercises themselves—when someone starts moving with more confidence, feeling stronger in their body, or simply having more energy in their everyday life.

Seeing my students feel healthier, stronger, and more at home in their bodies is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

Nourish your life

The kind of food I actually make.

Most of my recipes start in my own kitchen. I make them, change them, make them again, and only share them when they are simple enough for an ordinary day and good enough to make me want to cook them again.

On a day-to-day basis, I try to build meals that have a good balance of fibre, protein, carbs, and healthy fats. Rather than counting every calorie—which can honestly stress me out—I pay more attention to what is actually on my plate: colourful vegetables, wholesome ingredients, and a balance of nutrients that makes me feel good.

I’m not here to chase a perfect diet. I just want food to be something that nourishes my body, fits into real life, and is genuinely enjoyable to eat.

Curiosity shaped the path Chemistry, teaching, Pilates, and cooking may look separate. Each one taught me how to ask better questions and share what I learn.

Enjoyment helps it last I do not believe healthy living should feel like punishment. The best routines leave room for pleasure and real life.

Why I keep sharing I share the experiments, lessons, and ordinary days as they happen, hoping they help someone else find a way of living well that feels like their own.
